I have always been suspect about whether the garbage collectors on our street actually recycle, since only one truck comes down the street, and they are in and out quickly. This morning we scoped it out, since they came later than usual, and sure enough they were throwing the recyclables and garbage all in the same bin, while the truck was equipped with the bins on the side to take recyclables.
