I hope this dude was still high on his pain meds when he wrote this, or is
this really what Libertarians and/or Republicans think is wrong with healthcare,
not enough love!?!?
Flight 93 the movie, is due to be released soon. What, if any, are your opionions on it?
I for one am strongly opposed to any one seeing this movie. The reasons:
Terrorism
It seems to me to support the terrorist means - even thinking of this day makes my emotions swell, as I hope it does for every American. It also makes me have a slight amount of Fear in my mind, as I do not want to die, especially in a firey plane crash into a building I happen to be visiting, working in, or walking by. Fear begets Terror. Terror begets Terrorism.
Another nice benefit of working for a small company - Owner has Season Tickets to the Nationals game, and he can't go all the time, so he offers them up for free through a raffle to the company. Its a nice treat to go see a game, and in some really great seats. I think Bre has a couple of pictures she should add to the album I created.
I am concerned about the lack of motivation at several of the last jobs I have had. I am posting this because I want others opinions on this matter as well.
The last 5 jobs I have had in the corporate environment have all seemingly had people who were unmotivated to get anything more than the bare minimum done, and more often than not, less than that. So my question is, how are your current workplaces, coworkers and management in your current job? Does it seems as though attempting to complete even the simplest task which requires others input, is like walking through mud with 50 pound weights strapped to each leg?
VP Cheney Shoots A Man. I post yet another blog without a comments bar...
I am now officially working for MANAGEMENTCONCEPTS. Got the official letter and all the paper work today. Its not entirely new, as I really have been working for them for the past 5 1/2 months. But it is nice now to earn vacation time, have sick time available, and actually earn money when the office is closed for the holidays.
This brings me to the point of this entry, and whether or not it is ‘fair’ to hire employees on a temporary basis until you are sure they can do the job that they applied for. You have to look at it from two very different perspectives: The Business Owner and the Employee. The Business Owner obviously wants, on the first interview with the first candidate, to hire a competent, confident, and hard working employee, for the least amount of money possible. The Employee wants to have a rewarding career, with a rewarding salary (read expensive), fairness in regard to paid time off, and to be treated well by his or her fellow coworkers.
I just wanted to let everyone in on this product that anyone with a gas oven, heating, or water heater should definitely have in their home. This product monitors both CO - carbon monoxide - and explosive gases -like natural and propane-.
It seems to run in my family, the unique trait of growing lipomas. Thankfully these little buggers are completely harmless, but who needs extra bumps. So I just got finished with having a couple of the more noticeable ones cut out of my arm. The surgery was quick, clean and rather painless.
