Verizon TV offer

Hey, has anyone else seen the TV commercials for Verizon free HDTV offer if you sign up for their TV service. Sounds too good to be true. But I can't find it anywhere on there website, I wanted to find the catch...anyone else see this commercial?

So true ... I am still waiting for the TV too form the past 8 months and top it all the customer service is pathetic same ol answers all the time

Yes, I saw the Verizon offer in Jan of 08. In fact I signed up for the triple play and I am still waiting for the TV. Apparently you have to jump through a few hoops to get the ball rolling. They keep claiming they were so inundated with responses that they couldn't keep up so they set up a special group just to follow through on the offer. I'm not holding my breath.

I definitely saw the commercial in the baltimore/washington area.  Appears that you have to buy the internet, phone, and tv, and then vz will give you the 19in monitor.

I thought I saw a commercial saying that too... but a quick glance at their site didn't reveal anything...
